WHAT IF I HAVE A SMALL OR DIFFICULT BACKYARD TO WORK WITH?

• A small or difficult backyard brings out the best in our designer. Mike specializes in creating unique designs for unique situations and he fully enjoys a good challenge. Dependent upon the setbacks and permits for each city, usually anything is possible.

WILL A POOL INCREASE THE VALUE OF MY HOME?

• Pools are among the most popular home improvements in our nation and may add monetary value as well as perceived value. There is no real answer to this question because some people love pools and only look for homes for sale with pools, while other people may not want a pool at all. There are many variables dependent upon each person’s perceived value of what it is worth to them.

HOW MUCH DOES A POOL COST?

• All projects are different, but typically Pool Prince pool projects range anywhere from around $45,000.00 to $150,000.00 and up. Therefore, it is important to get your budget number in place while in the pre-planning stage. Not only will this help keep everyone on the same page during design process, but it will allow Mike to tell you what is and what is not possible to build. Having a clear budget number will also help with material selection and design features. We want to give you the best design and the highest quality products and materials within your budget.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BUILD A CUSTOM POOL?

• The average Pool Prince project takes approximately 6 – 8 weeks to complete. However, more elaborate projects can take longer depending on the design, location, size, features, and complexity.

WHO WILL I BE DEALING WITH DURING CONSTRUCTION? HOW OFTEN WILL I BE UPDATED ON THE PROGRESS OF CONSTRUCTION?

• Mike will be your single point of contact. He is in constant communication with our customers throughout the construction project. You will often be updated weekly, via phone, text or email, as to the progress made. At a minimum, Mike will reach out to you before
  the start of each stage with updates and he is always available to answer any questions that may arise.

WHO SUPERVISES YOUR CONSTRUCTION?

• Mike, the president of Pool Prince, will be your point of contact on your project and he will work closely with our subcontractors throughout your construction.

WHEN WILL I LEARN HOW TO USE THE POOL/SPA EQUIPMENT?

• After your pool is filled with water, Mike will go through a start-up orientation and demonstration with you and provide initial chemicals, brush, pole, net and test kit. He will also give you a thorough explanation of all pumps, systems, and maintenance requirements.

IS A POOL / SPA DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN?

• A properly designed pool and spa should require less than 15 – 20 minutes of maintenance a week by yourself or a professional.

HOW DO YOU GET INTO MY BACKYARD TO DIG MY POOL?

• It depends on the individual situation. We use a Bobcat front-end loader to dig the pool which often requires removing sections of your fence and/or gate. We will put your fence and/or gate back up after access is no longer needed. If and when a Bobcat cannot be used to dig a pool, we will come up with an alternative solution to fit your situation.
